Months-Long Fairfield Road Closure Starts Monday In Wayne

The closure is part of continuing improvement efforts for the Two Bridges Road Bridge, officials said.

WAYNE, NJ — Fairfield Road will be closed for 10-12 weeks for a construction projection, Wayne officials announced.

A detour will be established, but the road will be closed to through traffic in both directions from Two Bridges Road to Barnsdale Road, officials said.

The closure is part of continuing improvement efforts for the Two Bridges Road Bridge over the Pompton River & West Belt Extension Project.
