Road Milling Work To Affect Traffic In Wayne Friday

Milling is scheduled for April 28 along a section of Jackson Avenue, with paving set for May 1.

WAYNE, NJ — Heads up, Wayne drivers: Contractors will be milling a section of Jackson Avenue on Friday to prepare for paving, and traffic will be affected.

Crews will begin work around 11 a.m. near Smith Lane, police said. The workers will be milling about 700 feet of the road on Friday to prepare for paving on Monday, May 1.

The roadway will be open with alternating traffic according to Wayne Police, and milling will not affect the Pompton Falls fire station's operations.
