Wayne PD File Theft Charges Against Watch Thief
Wayne Police were able to file charges against the 26-year-old man with "the media('s) help and public's assistance," police said.
Wayne Police say that with the help of the public, they have charged the man allegedly responsible for stealing over $5,000 worth of Coach watches between December and January.
“I am proud to inform you that with the media(‘s) help and public’s assistance, ... Detective Dave Collins has filed criminal charges against Daniel Jimenez,” 26, of Paterson, Captain Laurence Martin said.
The Wayne Police Department reached out to the media in January, seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who stole watches on numerous occasions from the Coach store in Willowbrook Mall between Dec. 10, 2014 and Jan. 11, 2015.

Captain Martin says Jimenez is currently in the Bergen County Jail on unrelated charges and no bail has been set on the theft warrants out of Wayne.
