WAYNE, NJ — Want to know more about Wayne's transportation options for senior citizens and people with disabilities? The township will hold a Transportation and Safety Forum from 10 a.m. to noon Friday in the Wayne Township Municipal Complex (Council Chambers, 475 Valley Rd.).

Wayne for All Ages is a new task force created by Wayne Township’s Senior and Social Services Department to address resident concerns, initiate new age-friendly programs and create ways to support people of all ages by improving their quality of life. Over the past two years, Wayne for All AGes offered residents 45 and older the opportunity to take a survey developed by the American Association of Retired Persons.

The 15-page survey yielded 579 responses from residents. Feedback included offering programs to help better connect with residents to the resources they need.
