'Years' Of NJ Transit Delays To Begin As Lane Closures Start

Several popular bus routes will be detoured as lanes close on a bridge in Hudson County.

NORTH JERSEY, NJ — Eighteen NJ Transit North Jersey bus routes will be detoured due to a major bridge repair project in Hudson County.

The Route 495 Bridge over Routes 1&9 in North Bergen is being rehabilitated. The work requires detours to be in place for about two and a half years, NJ Transit said.

The following bus routes will be detoured during construction on days when work is done from 1 p.m. to 6 a.m., NJ Transit said:
