Raising Cane's Sets Opening Date For Deptford Location

The chain of chicken eateries, which entered the South Jersey region this year, will soon open its first restaurant in Gloucester County.

DEPTFORD, NJ — Raising Cane's continues to flock throughout South Jersey, with the chain of chicken restaurants set to open another eatery in the coming weeks.

Raising Cane's will open in Deptford on April 30, a company spokesperson told Patch. The restaurant will occupy the former site of Don Pablo's, which closed five years ago.

Founded in Louisiana, Raising Cane's has hundreds of locations across the nation. Specialties at the restaurants include chicken fingers (with signature Cane's sauce), chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and sweet tea.

In 2022, Raising Cane's unveiled plans to open several restaurants throughout the state. The chain opened its first three locations in the region this year, with restaurants in Burlington, Marlton and Cherry Hill.

Additional locations are in development for Glassboro, Lawnside and Turnersville.
