WESTFIELD, NJ — A new all-way stop sign was installed at the corner of Summit Avenue and Clifton Street in Westfield.

The installation on Monday was in response to a request made by area residents. This request prompted a review by the Public Safety, Transportation, and Parking Committee.

Following the review, a traffic warrant analysis was conducted which found that the intersection met the threshold for the implementation of an all-way stop.

Signage was put in place on Monday on all four sides of the intersection to indicate no parking is allowed within 50 feet of the stop signs.
