ORANGE, NJ — Voters in the City Of Orange went to the polls on Tuesday to elect a mayor and new members of the city council.

Here are the latest results for the 2024 nonpartisan municipal election in Orange, according to the Essex County Clerk's office. NOTE: The results remain uncertified as of Wednesday.

MAYOR

With 94.12 percent of districts reported, it appears that the incumbent candidate, Dwayne Warren, has emerged victorious for another term as the mayor of Orange.

The unofficial results are:

  • Quantavia L. Hilbert - 995 votes (37.18%)
  • April Gaunt-Butler - 178 votes (6.65%)
  • Dwayne D. Warren - 1,503 votes (56.17%)

CITY COUNCIL

The three candidates for at-large city council seats each ran unopposed: Weldon M. Montague III, Clifford R. Ross and Adrienne Wooten.
