Enjoy an early morning and breakfast at the zoo with an 
exclusive private event feel! Be one of only 200 people admitted. 
Proceeds support SEA TURTLE RECOVERY and their mission to help save sea 
turtles. Event admission includes two hours at the zoo before normal opening, as well as one doughnut from Beignets of Denville, NJ and one drink (Coffee or Apple Juice). Free train rides (weather permitting) and free glitter tattoos by Becky McDonald Face Painting. 
 If you would like to stay at the zoo longer, please choose the general 
zoo admission option. This will give you discounted admission to the zoo
 once it opens for normal hours at 10 am.
All persons under the 
age of 18 require at least one adult 18 years old or older to serve as a
 guardian. No one under 18 yrs old will be admitted without a guardian. 
Children under 3 admitted free but will not receive a doughnut (doughnut
 orders require a ticket purchase).

REQUIRED. Tickets will NOT be available at the door. There are no 
refunds or exchanges. All Zoo regulations apply and are subject to

Zufall Health - West Orange

Did you know that art can positively impact your health? 
<a href="https://www.zufallhealth.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Zufall Health</a>, a nonprofit community health center headquartered in Dover with a facility in West Orange, incorporates the therapeutic value of art ​into patient care through its Arts In Health program. 
See some of this beautiful art on display at the opening reception of "New Beginnings," a group exhibition, on Thursday, September 12.
In addition to original works of art, guests will be treated to light refreshments, wine, live music, and the opportunity to win a door prize gift basket. No RSVP is necessary.
Arts In Health aims to add another dimension to the care Zufall provides by adding a sense of comfort and beauty to an atmosphere traditionally considered sterile, and helping to alleviate the anxiety of being in a medical setting. On a broader scale, Arts In Health reaches beyond Zufall patients and staff to culturally enrich the community by providing new channels for creative expression.

Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex

RWJBarnabas Health and the New Jersey Devils are teaming up for the 8th Annual RWJBarnabas Health Running with the Devils 5K Run &amp; Walk while offering both live and virtual formats in 2024. The live 5K Run &amp; Wellness Walk will take place on Sunday, November 3rd at Essex County’s South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange. The virtual format offers an extended opportunity to run or walk at a convenient location within participants’ communities from October 3rd to November 3rd. 
This year, both the competitive 5K race on a USATF Certified Course and the Wellness Walk will take place along Cherry Lane and the scenic reservoir at South Mountain Recreation Complex. All proceeds from the event will support RWJBarnabas Health’s commitment to protect and build healthier communities throughout New Jersey.
All registered runners and walkers receive FREE entry to Essex County’s award-winning Turtle Back Zoo on event day, with a line-up of family-friendly activities planned at the zoo post-race.
For individuals and families not available to participate in the live event, the virtual format offers the option to run or walk around a neighborhood, at a local park, or even on a treadmill from October 3rd – November 3rd using the <a href="https://www.rungoapp.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">RunGo App</a>. Virtual participants are also eligible for prizes and will receive FREE access to Turtle Back Zoo between November 4th and December 30th. 
Exciting fundraising incentives are being offered for individuals and teams (Live and Virtual) highlighted by tickets to New Jersey Devils games, signed New Jersey Devils merchandise, and the opportunity to engage with alumni, among others. Awards will be presented for the top three finishers overall and in multiple age categories (Live &amp; Virtual).
Registration is NOW Open with discounted registration fees for all participants that sign-up before September 2nd. Children 11 and under are FREE.
