WEST ORANGE, NJ — The two candidates for this year’s board of education election in West Orange – incumbent Melinda Huerta and challenger Maria Vera-Diaz – met for a debate on Thursday as the 2023 general election inches closer.

The West Orange Council of PTAs spearheaded the candidate forum, which took place at West Orange High School. Watch the video online here.
