WEST ORANGE, NJ — West Orange will have a new township council president in 2024: Bill Rutherford.

The council voted to approve Rutherford as its new president at their Dec. 19 meeting. He will succeed current council president Tammy Williams.

Every council member voted in favor of Rutherford’s appointment except Williams, who abstained from the vote.
