Middlesex County Police Softball Tournament In Woodbridge

Middlesex County Police PBA Local 214 will host the first-ever charity softball tournament this Saturday, Oct. 13 at William Warren Park.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Middlesex County Police PBA Local 214 will host the first-ever charity softball tournament this Saturday, Oct. 13 at William Warren Park in Woodbridge.

Teams are invited to sign up to compete in the tournament. Entry fees are $600 per team. The tournament is a fundraiser for Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson.

There is a 9 a.m. opening ceremony and the first game will be played at 8 a.m. Anyone is welcome to sign up to compete or simply come watch this Saturday, Oct. 13. There will be food, drink and music and a 50/50 raffle. The event is titled a Middlesex County Police Charity Softball tournament because a majority of the teams that are participating in the tournament are made up of police officers from various agencies within Middlesex County, or within close proximity. Also the event is being hosted by PBA local #214, which is comprised of Middlesex County detectives and superior officers.
