Disco Sushi Experience Opens In Astoria, Sets Second Venue In Queens

Sushi by Boū​ opened its thirteenth location on 41-17 Broadway, setting up the restaurant's second location in Queens.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — A disco-themed sushi restaurant opened in Astoria last week, offering a timed multi-course dining experience to New Yorkers.

Sushi by Boū opened its thirteenth location on 41-17 Broadway, setting up the restaurant's second location in Queens after opening in Bayside earlier this year.

Each location has a different theme, and Astoria was christened with Disco Sushi. The restaurant on Broadway can fit up to 40 people, including several others at the bar. Themes in other locations include 90s Hip Hop, Roaring '20s, Disco, Whiskey Library and Tokyo Alley.

Customers can choose between a 12-course omakase for $60 or a 17-course omakase for $100 both for 60 minutes.

Sushi by Boū in Astoria will be open for dinner 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays; from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The restaurant chain is scheduled to open a dozen locations in 2023, including more in Queens.
