Bedford Hills 22-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Rape, Sex Abuse

BEDFORD, NY — A Westchester man is facing felony sex abuse charges after his arrest on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bedford Police Department Detective Bureau arrested Bedford Hills resident, Luis Encarnacion Urrutia.

The 22-year-old was processed by detectives, then arraigned by a Town of Bedford judge before being taken to the Westchester County Jail.

Urrutia was charged with first degree attempted rape and first degree sex abuse. Authorities did not immediately release additional details about the accusations.
