Bedford-Pound Ridge Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts Annual Midnight Run

Bedford-Pound Ridge Cub Scout Pack 170 and Boy Scout Troop 129 join forces to help the homeless in their annual Midnight Run

Every year the Bedford-Pound Ridge Cub Scout Pack 170 and the Boy Scout Troop 129 join forces to provide food and clothing to the homeless people of New York City. The Cub Scouts prepare bag meals and the Boy Scouts gather cold weather clothing then travel by van to an assigned route to deliver these items directly to those in need on the streets. The homeless look forward to their support every year. “It is a unique effort that involves our whole scouting community and demonstrates how the scouts follow the Scout Oath to help other people at all times,” said Pack 170’s Leader, Chris Desforges.
