HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Thanksgiving week kicks off with rain preceding a cold front and blustery winds Monday.

Temperatures are expected to be about five degrees below normal Monday and Tuesday. Then the weather is expected to moderate before a second wave of rain is expected as a storm system moves east, possibly affecting Thanksgiving Day.

"The good news is that the weather shouldn’t be a major issue for Hudson Valley residents this week," said the folks at Hudson Valley Weather. "We’ll continue to track a potential pattern change as we head into December."
