Calling Hours Wednesday for Val and Taew Horsa

The couple perished in a plane crash in Titicus Reservoir on Nov. 19.

The family of South Salem couple Val and Taew Horsa will receive callers Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield, according to the couple’s obituary in The Ridgefield Press.

The two, who owned the Bangkok Thai Restaurant in Danbury, died on Nov. 19 in a plane crash in Titicus Reservoir in North Salem.

Val Horsa, 76, was born in Kharkow, Russia, and Taew Horsa, 66, was born in Korat, Thailand. The couple are survived by their son Eric, his wife Portia and their two grandchildren Erica and Kyle of Ridgefield, according to The Ridgefield Press.
