LEWISBORO, NY — The South Salem Ghost Walk is among the most beloved events of the season, but ghosts don't grow on trees — the Lewisboro Library could use a little help from you at your very spookiest.

The walking tour of local haunted sites returns on Friday, October 20, but organizers are already seeking about a dozen teens and adults to play historic "ghosts." In addition to getting a chance to be a part of one of the best events of the year, there are a few other benefits to "playing dead," including learning the sinister side of local history, practicing your acting in front of a live (and long since past) audience and getting a chance to scare families in a way that would be frowned upon at any other time.

If interested, send an email to [email protected], indicating whether you are a teen or adult, so organizers will know which otherworldly part to assign.
