Harvey School Honors Fall's Top Athletes

The pair were recognized during the headmaster's weekly meeting on Monday.

The Harvey School Monday named seniors Rohan Cassells and Julia Frisch as the Katonah-based school’s top male and female athletes of the fall term, according to Director of Athletics Patrick Kennedy.

Cassells of Mount Vernon, was the varsity cross-country team’s top runner, finishing 11th overall in the Housatonic Valley Athletic League rankings, receiving HVAL All League. Cassells is a Cavalier Scholar with a 4.0 grade-point average.

Frisch, a Brewster resident, played a significant role in helping her 12-3-1 varsity soccer team advance to the HVAL semifinals. The midfielder, who earned the Coaches Award for her leadership and effort, is an honor student.

Kennedy had high praise for the two senior athletes.

“Rohan and Julia deserve this recognition for their great efforts and success in sports while taking on a heavy load of challenging academic courses. They embody what it means to be a student athlete at Harvey.”
