Limited Spots Remain 19th Annual SilverSource Charity Golf Outing

Raising funds for "Ride to Wellness" and "Housing Stability" programs on June 10

Limited space is still available to play in the 19th Annual SilverSource Charity Golf Outing. The tournament will be held on Monday, June 10th at Rockrimmon Country Club in Stamford, CT. Participants will enjoy a fun day of golf on the challenging Robert Trent Jones course while competing for coveted awards and prizes, and raising important funds for seniors in need.

The day begins with a pre-tournament brunch beginning at 10:30am, and a shotgun start at 12pm. High spirits continue with an après-golf reception, dinner and auction led by Alan Kalter, David Letterman’s Late Show announcer. Non-golfers are invited to join the fun for cocktails and dinner. Registration begins at $500 for individual golfers, $1,500 for foursomes and $125 for reception and dinner. Visit https://silversource.org/golf/ for additional details and to purchase tickets.

The tournament is the organization’s only spring fundraising event, with all proceeds supporting the SilverSource Elderly Housing Stability Program, elder eviction protection and the Ride To Wellness Medical Transportation Program. Last year the event raised more than $100,000 for our older neighbors in need.

This year’s tournament honors Rick Silver, senior partner of Silver Golub & Teitell, an advocate and supporter of those in need. Long recognized as a leader of the litigation bar in the state of Connecticut, he has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for the last 25 years. Mr. Silver has also been included in Connecticut Super Lawyers since its inception.

“This is a fun day that supports seniors in our community who really need our help,” said Kathleen Bordelon, Executive Director of SilverSource. “Funds raised will provide affordable transportation to their medical and dental appointments, and keeps needy seniors in their homes, avoiding homelessness.”
