POUND RIDGE, NY — If you had your heart set on buying Richard Gere's $28 million 50-acre Pound Ridge estate, first put on the market in October and recently featured as a Patch Hudson Valley Wow House, you're too late. The actor found a buyer for the 50-acre property on Thursday, according to Mansion Global.

In addition to the 8-bedroom, 10-bathroom, 11,658-sq.-ft. main house, the 50-acre estate also includes a private lake with a sandy beach (and island), a secret soccer field, horse stables and a pool with pool house. After moving in, we imagine the new owners will start feeling like part of the Hollywood elite, if they aren't already a part of it.
