And soon, parents (and cool aunts and uncles) in the Hudson Valley will have that option.

Rosebud Slumber Parties has built a reputation for creating an unforgettable and magical experience for children with their themed slumber, outdoor teepee and picnic parties.

With an incredible attention to detail, and an eye for style, Rosebud Slumber Parties owner, Helen Martin-Elmer is known for designing extravagant children's parties to suit each child’s unique personality. Rosebud Slumber Parties has seen wildfire growth in Fairfield County, Connecticut and is now making an eagerly anticipated expansion into Westchester County in early summer 2023.

"I have had the pleasure of helping nearly 2,000 children celebrate birthdays and special occasions throughout Fairfield County in the last 2 years, and I am excited to expand the fun into Westchester County," Martin-Elmer said. Rosebud Slumber Parties has built a reputation across the region with its special themed parties like "Unicorns & Rainbows," "Under the Sea," "Tie Dye Dreamers" and "Glow Crazy." The themes are designed to embrace a child’s interests and reflect who they are as individuals, according to Martin-Elmer.

The special "add-ons" bring a special dreamlike element to the slumber parties. The Rosebud Candy Cart comes with six jars of candy for a sweet treat, and special "Spa and Sweet Dreams" kits include face masks and fluffy socks, adding a touch of indulgence to the slumber party experience.

"I wanted to ensure I offered fun extras to help customize the party to the child’s personality," Martin-Elmer said. "My goal is to think of everything, so the parents do not have to."

Her most recent launch of picnic parties has been downright magical. Martin-Elmer and her team supply everything needed for a magical celebration, elevating the classic picnic to something enchanting.

Like the slumber parties, Martin-Elmer delivers, sets up, styles the party, and returns to take it all away.

"The set up was spectacular," satisfied (and relaxed) parent Caitlin Behrman of Fairfield said. "It’s every kid’s dream. The team was so helpful, and every little touch was just wonderful. I would use them over and over again."
