3 LI Manufacturing Plants To Close, Lay Off 145 Workers

The plants will close over the course of next year, affecting 145 employees.

BRENTWOOD, NY — Three Long Island manufacturing plants are to cease production within one year, laying off 145 jobs, according to online State Department of Labor documents.

Radienz Living, LLC, a disinfectant wipes and floor wipes business, filed it will be closing two Brentwood sites and one Melville site starting Jan. 15 due to economic reasons.

The layoffs will gradually occur until July 31. The company officially filed with the Office of Dislocated Workers program on Oct. 11.

According to documents, 88 employees will be laid off at the 105 Emjay Blvd location, 44 employees will be laid off at the 445 Broad Hollow Rd., location, and 13 employees will be laid off at the 110 Emjay Blvd location.
