Back To School Event Brings School Supplies And Haircuts To Brentwood

BRENTWOOD, NY — The new school year is just around the corner which means school supplies will be selling out soon.

New York State Senator Monica Martinez and legal firm Liga de Justicia Abogados have teamed up for their annual Brentwood school supply distribution On Saturday, August 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"This annual event is all about supporting our community and making sure every child has what they need for a successful school year," Martinez' representatives said.

However, the event will offer more than the equipment needed for the classroom. In addition to providing free backpacks and essential school supplies, students who attend can enjoy free barber services, fun activities, food, treats, music and much more.

The event will take place at St. Anne’s Knights of Columbus, located at 96 Second Avenue in Brentwood.
