Brentwood St. Patrick's Day Parade: What To Know

Here is what you need to know about the upcoming parade.

BRENTWOOD, NY — The 52nd annual Brentwood St. Patrick's Day Parade is scheduled for 1 p.m. this Saturday.

The parade will start from Clark St. and Washington Ave. It will then continue down Washington Ave., across Suffolk Ave, and to the viewing stand at Ross Park, according to a Facebook page about the event.

The parade will feature four middle school bands, Green Machine, USCG & Irish Pipe bands, Brentwood Fire Department with their band the Wanderers and more surprise musical guests.

Community groups, school clubs, roller-skaters, and car groups, are also expected to walk.

This year's Grand Marshal will be Edwin D. Callaghan.

The Brentwood Parade Committee has been organizing the annual parade on the Saturday following St. Patrick’s Day since 1969, its Facebook page says.

This year's event is the first parade since 2019, due to the pandemic.
