Morrow Elementary 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students wrote essays on people who are making a difference throughout the world. Students chose to compose their essays that featured important women, people of color, and individuals who have made a difference in the lives of others. Pictured are student winners proudly displaying their certificates, books and educational games which they were presented for their exemplary essays, with Morrow Elementary School Principal Dr. Neema Coker, and Morrow School Social Worker Mr. Chris Carlozzo. Morrow Essay Contest Student Winners are: Ogechukuka Ebinum, Nida Zahra, Hailey Toro, Kenzi Licona, Yalda Masumi, Karla Morales, Hayden Santiago, Kailey Leddy, Haisey Mercado, Matthew Flores Bonilla, Avianna John and Joshua Mazariegos. Superintendent of Schools Ms. Sharon A. Dungee congratulates the essay contest winners and all of the students who created essays that spotlighted individuals whose significant contributions continue to make a difference throughout the world and in the lives of others.
