Long Island Ducks Will Hold Job Fair For Baseball Season Jobs
The local baseball team will hold a job fair in March for seasonal employment.
CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Know a local baseball fan looking for summer or seasonal work? The Long Island Ducks are holding a job fair March 7, where they will be looking for game day and promotional employees for the baseball season. Those in attendance will enjoy preferential consideration for the positions, according to the team's website.
The job fair will be at Bethpage Ballpark, 3 Court House Dr., Central Islip, from 10 a.m until 2 p.m. The Ducks are looking for concession workers, groundskeepers and interns. All applicants must be at least 16 years old. The fair is jointly hosted by the Ducks and Great South Bay Hospitality LLC, the food service operator that the team partnered with earlier this year.
The Long Island Ducks were the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball's champions in 2019. The season starts May 1.
