Man Busted After Selling Tobacco Products To A Minor: PD

Suffolk County police arrested an Islip Terrace smoke shop as part of "Operation Smoke Out" on Sunday, police say.

ISLIP TERRACE, NY — An Islip Terrace smoke shop employee was arrested Thursday after selling tobacco products to a minor, according to Suffolk County Police.

Anthony Jordan, 34, of Islip Terrace, was charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child after selling tobacco products to an underage person at Mr. Vape, a smoke shop located at 876-11 Connetquot Avenue in Islip Terrace, police said.

The investigation was part of Suffolk Police Department's “Operation Smoke Out," which aims to crack down on underage and illegal vape sales.

Jordan was issued a Field Appearance Ticket and is slated to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
