13 Injured, Including 2 Firefighters In Brooklyn Apartment Fire: FDNY

BROOKLYN, NY — 13 people were injured including 2 firefighters in an apartment building fire in Brooklyn Tuesday night, according to the FDNY.

Firefighters responded to 881 5th Ave. in Sunset Park at around 8:45 p.m., the FDNY said.

106 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the fire Tuesday, officials said.

The fire may have started on the second floor of the four-story building. The fire was placed under control just after 9:20 p.m.
