BROOKLYN, NY — Three Brooklyn Eateries landed on the New York Times' annual ranking of the city's best restaurants, representing the borough from Sunset Park to Fort Greene.

Landing the top spot for the borough was Sailor in Fort Greene, which the Times put at spot No. 4 — ranking just behind Manhattan favorites Torrisi, Superiority Burger and Tatiana by Kwame Onwuachi.

Opened in September, Sailor is as much a cozy hangout spot as it is a hub for "simple-seeming" but nuanced flavors, according to the New York Times.

The "neighborhood bistro" menu boasts small plates like mussel toast with jalapeño aioli, anchovy with celery and parmesan and mains like smoked port shoulder and a roasted cod.

It's Gabriel Stulman's first venture in Brooklyn after opening West Village hot spots Joseph Leonard, Fairfax and Jeffrey's Grocery, according to Brooklyn Magazine.

In seventh place sits Park Slope's Masalawala & Sons, a Bengali eatery noted for its lamb stew and roasted fluke served on the bone with a parsley and garlic sauce.

The restaurant is an outpost of Chintan Pandya's, the chef responsible for Long Island City's Adda, Greenwich Village's Semma and Dhamaka on the Lower East Side.

Sunset Park's Hainan Chicken House sits in the list's No. 12 spot, another nod in the already highly celebrated eatery's belt.

Hainan Chicken House, located on 8th Avenue near 48th Street, is known for its Hainan chicken and unique specials — and it recently landed on Eater's ranking for New York City's best restaurants too.

The family-owned restaurant opened about a year ago and has since become a city-wide favorite.

The New York Times said it's the city's "most impressive" spot for Hainanese chicken, on account of its outstanding sauces, broth and other Malaysian staples.
