The River Café has been celebrated with numerous accolades, including a Michelin Star, the Restaurant Hall of Fame Award, the Municipal Arts Society Award and the Wine Spectator Award, selected by the French culinary guide “Gault Millau” as one of the five best restaurants in New York, among many others.

Together with chef Brad Steelman, the eatery aims to complement the changing seasons with a classic American menu of "elegance and refinement," the website states.

The other New York City eateries to crack the list are Club A Steakhouse and One if by Land, Two if by Sea.
