Here's the candidates:

Congress

District 8 (Bed-Stuy)

Hakeem Jeffries (D) will be defending his powerful house position as chair of the House Democratic Caucus and potential future Speaker of the House against challenger Yuri Dashevsky (R / Conservative Party), a filmmaker and interpreter. The district went overwhelming for Biden in 2020 (+53%).

District 9 (Crown Heights) - Clarke v. Raitport

Yvette Clarke (D) has been in this seat for eight-terms, despite some recent close primary challenges. She will be fighting off frequent general election challenger Menachem Raitport (C).

State Senate

District 21 (Park Slope)

In the only un-uncontested State Senate race on the list, Kevin Parker (D), who has repped the now redrawn district for nearly two decades, is facing off against challenger David Alexis (Working Families), a progressive challenger backed by the Democratic Socialists of America who lost by around seven percent to Parker in the Democratic primary earlier this year. City & State deems this a safe race for Parker.

State Assembly

District 44 (Park Slope)

Robert Carroll (D) has repped the Slope since 2017. He faces off against Brenda Horton (R) and Arkadiusz T. Tomaszewski (Medical Freedom Party).

District 52 (Park Slope)

Jo Anne Simon (D), an Assembly rep since 2015, Simon recently ran and lost both for Brooklyn Borough President in 2021 and in the Democratic Congressional Primary in the newly drawn District 10. She faces off against Brett Wynkoop (R), an apparent ham radio enthusiast.
