'Brooklyn Made' Downtown BK Store Offically Opens

BROOKLYN, NY — Brooklyn Made, a store selling borough-produced goods and products, officially opened its second location in downtown Brooklyn last week.

The new store at City Point opened on June 7 and will feature international products from global artisans of some of the countries the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has partnered with, including Brooklyn Loom in Pakistan, as well as goods sourced from El Salvador and Singapore, officials said.

Shoppers can visit the new location from 11 a.m.to 7p.m. at 445 Albee Square West.

The brand-new City Point location was designed by local Brooklyn architect and contractor Gurri Design and Rebuild.

“The new Brooklyn Made Store is a landmark achievement for our Chamber, and for all the artists and makers featured at our City Point location,” said Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Randy Peers.

The opening comes a year after the launch of its first store in Sunset Park’s Industry City. The Sunset Park store features over 50 different vendors.
