Popular amongst thousands for nearly 10 years in Brooklyn, <a href="https://blackvegfest.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Black VegFest </a>was established to provide a platform and movement space for Black people to define what food, health, and vegan community looks like from a Black perspective.
It's an annual festival established to educate and encourage new vegans, as well as provide opportunities for growth for veteran vegans. Black VegFest proudly advocates for veganism while supporting those who are preparing for or are unsure about adopting a vegan way of life.
ITS FREE FOR ALL TO ATTEND! 
The outdoor, public gathering is an informative, nurturing, non-judgemental space for everyone seeking to prioritize healthy living for self, family, community, animals, and the planet.

<a href="https://www.buck.co/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">BUCK</a>, a leading global design company, is thrilled to announce "NEW BEGINNINGS," a group art show centered on change, opportunity, and rebirth featuring twenty artists from BUCK’s Asian Employee Resource Group (ERG) APAC@BUCK. The show is on view at <a href="https://landtoseanyc.com/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Land to Sea</a>, an Asian American- and Women-owned café and creative venue in Brooklyn, NY, known for its community-centric events. 
“NEW BEGINNINGS” celebrates the Year of the Dragon, symbolizing change, opportunity, and rebirth. This theme encapsulates the journey of pursuing dreams and transforming them into reality. The show explores the diversity of visual media, individual experiences, and Asian identities from the perspectives of twenty BUCK artists spanning three studio locations (New York, Los Angeles, and Sydney) and six departments.
The show includes an array of mediums and materials, including Risograph print, giclee print, pen plotter drawing, traditional ink, silk scarves, embroidery, 16mm film, Riso animation, temporary tattoos, and stickers.

Land to Sea is open Mon-Sun from 8am to 7pm, and the event is open through September 30th, 2024.

This is a drop-in program. Patrons will be admitted on a first come first serve basis until the classroom reaches capacity.
