" I wish all Brooklynites health and happiness in 2024, and I look forward to reaffirming my commitment to celebrating Brooklyn through service in the upcoming year," Reynoso said.

Locals can RSVP to the free fireworks show online, but tickets are not required.

Prospect Park will light up throughout December for the holidays. On Thursday, Grand Army Plaza will celebrate the lighting of a massive menorah.

And in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, a bright holiday light display will light up the green space through Jan. 1.
