BROOKLYN, NY — The Green-Wood Cemetery is inviting photographers of all levels to submit their best photo of the historic burial ground to the "Moment in Time" photo contest from now until August 30.

Cemetery officials said interested photographers should submit one photo that they've taken at the cemetery, whether it's a striking photo of a monument, a lively photo from one of its many concerts, a peaceful natural landscape, or a bird in flight.

“We’re excited to see how our visitors capture the essence of Green-Wood,” said Harry J. Weil, vice president of education and programming at Green-Wood Cemetery.

Ten winning images will be printed by Printique and prominently displayed along Green-Wood’s fence this fall, creating a free outdoor exhibition.
