The Green-Wood Cemetery Welcomes Heather Malin As CFO/VP

Heather has over 25 years of experience in institutional leadership, advancement, and financial oversight

The Green-Wood Cemetery today announced the appointment of Heather Malin as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President.

Heather has over 25 years of experience in institutional leadership, advancement, and financial oversight, working with organizations in several sectors, including higher education, historic preservation, and the arts.

She comes to Green-Wood from Brooklyn Public Library, where she was Director of the Center for Brooklyn History. Her previous positions include Interim Chief Financial Officer, Vice President for Advancement, and Director of Development at the Brooklyn Historical Society. She was a founding partner of the Mason Philanthropy Group and served as an Assistant Dean for Development & Alumni Relations for the Faculty of the Arts and Sciences at New York University. She has also held positions in development at Fordham University and Columbia Law School.

A resident of Kensington, a neighborhood adjacent to Green-Wood, Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Vassar College.
