BROOKLYN, NY — Authorities are looking for a trio who reportedly robbed a 19-year-old man at knifepoint while he was waiting for the train at a Brooklyn subway station.

The 19-year-old was waiting for the train at York Street Station on July 31, just before midnight, when a trio of thieves approached him, armed with knives, police said.

The men demanded that the teenager hand over his personal items, including his phone, headphones and sneakers, cops said.

The teen handed over his Apple iPhone 12, Apple AirPods and shoes, police said. He was not hurt in the mugging.

An NYPD spokesperson said the group took off with his items, fleeing the train station on foot.

No arrests have been made, and police did not release a description of the suspects.

The investigation remains ongoing.
