New Music Venue Set To Open At BK Navy Yard Next Month: Report

The Brooklyn Storehouse will officially open on June 7 with a three-hour DJ set by Eric Prydz.

BROOKLYN, NY — A new music event center will officially open at the Brooklyn Navy Yard early next month.

The Brooklyn Storehouse, located at Building 293 is set to open on June 7, TimeOut New York reported.

New York-based TCE Presents and UK's Broadwick have partnered to open the new music space, according to a press release.

The venue will be continuously reconfigured and transformed to create a wide array of spatial environments, according to company officials.

The Brooklyn Storehouse — a 105,000-square-foot venue — is expected to have a capacity of up to 5,000.

DJ Eric Prydz will be the first person to perform at the new music venue, according to the venue's website. Charlotte de Witte is set to perform later in the month on June 22 and Justice will hit the stage on July 25.

“Blending industrial rawness with creative innovation, the 105,000 sq ft space will be continuously transformed and filled with forward-thinking content, one-offs and world firsts,” Brooklyn Storehouse shared on Instagram.
