NYPD Recruit Arrested On Prostitution Charge In Brooklyn: Cops

EAST NEW YORK, NY — An NYPD recruit faced a prostitution charge after being arrested in Brooklyn early Thursday morning, police said.

Diangelo Pena, 26, was arrested Thursday at about 12:30 a.m. in Brooklyn's 75th Precinct, which covers East New York, New Lots and Cypress Hills, according to the NYPD.

Little else was shared by police officials about the incident that landed Pena a patronizing prostitution charge, according to the NYPD.

A handful of other city employees were arrested in New York City this week, including a corrections employee in Queens and an FDNY EMT arrested in Brooklyn.
