Depressed Teen Disappears From Bushwick Home, Police Say

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A teenaged girl who battles with depression disappeared from her Bushwick home last week and hasn't been seen since, police said.

Jessica Bell, 16, was last seen leaving her house on Putnam Street near Bushwick Avenue about 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, said police.

Bell, who has anxiety and depression, had not returned home as of Monday morning, police said.

The teen stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall, has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a red dress with white stripes, according to police.

Anyone with information about where to find Bell is asked to contact the NYPD.
