Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Suffolk Collision

The motorcyclist collided with a Jeep that was making a left turn, police say.

DEER PARK, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a car in Deer Park on Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.

Hassan Choudry, 25, of Deer Park, was operating a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Deer Park Avenue when his vehicle collided with a northbound 2017 Jeep Wrangler making a left turn onto Long Island Avenue at 8:30 a.m., police said.

Choudry was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. The driver, a 45-year-old West Babylon resident, was not injured, police said.
