Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Groups are a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to develop a support system, talk through issues and coping strategies, share feelings and learn about community resources. This group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at The East Hampton Library in the Bendheim Room. Drop in, no registration required!

Come play, socialize and explore! Led by our certified Early Learning educator, this class will encourage your child to learn and grow beyond the classroom. Focus is on social interactions, physical development, cognitive learning, gross and fine motor skills, and language- all through fun! Little learners will be invited to participate in activities including STEM, arts, music, movement and more. Join daily, part-time or every day! At Project Most Community Learning Center from 12:30-1:30pm.
Children need to be able to use the bathroom independently for this drop-off program.

Register for a 30-minute session to meet individually with a Suffolk County RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) volunteer from HIICAP (Health Insurance Information, Counseling &amp; Assistance Program) to answer questions and provide information specific to your own needs regarding Medicare health insurance and benefits, Medicare Savings Programs, Extra Help for prescription drugs and EPIC. Must be Medicare Eligible. 
About RSVP Suffolk:
RSVP Suffolk places over 500 seniors, 55 and older, in volunteer positions across the county. We work very closely with our volunteers to match them to excellent volunteer opportunities that are right for them. They are dedicated to their programs and trained to lead, teach counsel, and care for so many in need in their communities. RSVP partners with over 50 non-profit organizations across Suffolk County ranging from hospitals and nursing homes to beautiful outdoor locations such as Fire Island Lighthouse and the Long Island Maritime Museum. RSVP is the only senior volunteer program dedicated to the human services field in Suffolk County. It was incorporated in 1972 and became an independent 501 (c) 3 in 2002. Telephone Reassurance Program:
RSVP Suffolk’s Telephone Reassurance Program has volunteers who are trained to call frail and /or vulnerable homebound seniors with little or no family or community assistance from our two offices. The volunteers make daily phone calls to seniors living in the community to socialize with them and monitor their well-being. Study an alignment based vinyasa flow, rooted in the wisdom of ayurveda with&nbsp;Sheryl Hastalis, Jolie Parcher, and Renata Di Biase.
Following the tradition of Krishnamacharya, we believe "the purpose of yoga is to reduce disturbance and return an individual to his or her inherent peace and power... yoga must be adapted and practiced according to the needs, capacities, and aspirations of each student"
 We’re pleased to include a 20 hour anatomy component with master teacher Joe miller so that you can study at your own pace. is This will be enhanced with in-person lessons with Sheryl.

The most effective teaching relies on the practitioner’s curiosity and investigation within their own practice. While this training provides the concrete and practical information you’ll need to teach alignment-based vinyasa—you’ll be encouraged to engage directly with your own experience of yoga to guide your education. Your personal practice will most certainly deepen and advance, and taking the course for this reason alone can be wonderfully fulfilling, but ultimately you will come away prepared to teach.
