TONIGHT: Eisenhower Park Fireworks, Concert

Check out the latest forecast before you head to the show.

Rain over the weekend forced the postponement of the 12th Annual TD Bank Celebrate America Concert and Fireworks at Nassau County’s Eisenhower Park, but thankfully the weather is looking much nicer for the re-scheduled event set for Monday night.

The Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre at the park in East Meadow is the place to be.

A doo-wop concert will kick off the festivities at 7 p.m Monday, which will lead up to the fireworks display around 9 p.m. The event is free and no tickets are required.

There is no formal seating so visitors should bring blankets or chairs, officials said. Space is also limited and overflow will be directed to other viewing and parking areas.

The weather looks like it will be just about perfect. When the concert starts, it should be mostly sunny with a temperature of about 74 degrees, according to weather.com. When the skies light up with fireworks, skies will be clear with the mercury right around 70 degrees.
