Who Should Play Eisenhower Park This Summer? Nassau Wants To Know.
The county is asking residents for who they'd like to see perform at the Lakeside Theater at Eisenhower Park this summer.
EAST MEADOW, NY — Every summer, Nassau County offers free concerts at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in Eisenhower Park. Though the summer months are still far off, the county is asking residents what acts they would like to see.
The county's Department of Parks and Recreation offers the free concerts at the outdoor theater, usually in June, July and August. There are many culturally themed nights, like Latino American Night and Turkish American night, as well as concerts from popular local bands.
Over the years, big acts have played the stage as well, including Huey Lewis and the News, Blondie and Joan Jett.

On Facebook, the Parks Department is asking residents what acts they'd like to see this year. Suggestions so far include Harry Styles, Rammstein, Tom Petty, 80s cover bands and more rock n' roll music.
