Forest Hills Bank Robber Flees On Bus: NYPD

Police are looking for the man who robbed a Chase Bank in Queens then made an eco-friendly getaway.

FOREST HILLS, NY — Cops are looking for a Forest Hills bank robber who nabbed hundreds of dollars and fled on the bus, police said.

A masked man stole about $500 from the Chase Bank Police on Queens Boulevard and Union Turnpike about 9:20 a.m. on Aug. 12, the NYPD said.

The robber slipped a note demanding cash to a teller who handed over the money, police said.

The suspect was next seen riding the bus, police said. Anyone with information regarding the incident should call the NYPD. All calls are strictly confidential.
