The Glendale Comedy Show Returns

THE AVENUE RESTAURANT & BAR - Glendale Business Supports Local & Rising Comics. Friday, July 17th.

After a sold-out show in April, The Glendale Comedy Show will be returning to the Avenue Restaurant & Bar on Friday, July 17th, with shows at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Tickets for the shows are $10.00 (includes one complimentary beverage), and reservations should be made in advance by calling (347) 725-3853. The Avenue Restaurant & Bar is located at 71-22 Myrtle Avenue in Glendale, Queens.

The show will feature both local and national comedians, including Miguel Lopez, Angela Cobb, Justin Hayes, Vin Bracco, Davey Wester, and Jonas Barnes. “Our goal, from day one, was to give Queens residents access to great comedy and a great night out without having to travel into the city and without having to spend a lot of money,” says the show host and Glendale native Johnny Baron.

About the Avenue Restaurant & Bar: Owned and operated by lifelong Glendale resident Rob Schoemig & lifelong friends Vytis & Rimas Kezys, the Avenue opened in May of 2010 with the goal of bringing back the community restaurant & bar, a place where you can take the family out for a dinner or just you and that special someone for dinner and drinks. The Avenue owners are very active in the community, donating time and money to local charities. We are not just a restaurant; we are a part of the community.
