More LIRR Changes, 3 Cancelled PM Trains, Due To Great Neck Track Work

GREAT NECK, NY — Track work on the Great Neck pocket track continues, and with it comes more cancellations and changes for Long Island Rail Road commuters.

  • From Monday, Nov. 14 until Friday, Nov. 18, the 4:40 p.m. train from Penn Station to Port Washington is canceled.
  • The 4:43 p.m. train will leave Penn ten minutes later than normal, at 4:53 p.m., and with added stops to Manhasset, Plandome and Port Washington.
  • The 5:29 p.m. train from Penn Station to Great Neck is also canceled. Riders can take the 5:26 p.m. instead, which is temporarily making all local stops from Flushing to Port Washington.
  • The 6:14 p.m. train from Penn Station to Port Washington is also temporarily canceled. The 6:10pm train from Penn Station will make all local stops, Flushing-Main Street to Port Washington.
