Delivery Worker Attacked Over E-Bike In E Harlem, Police Say

EAST HARLEM, NY — A delivery worker was attacked on the job in East Harlem by a thief who targeted the man for his e-bike, police said.

The 32-year-old deliveryman was riding on Fifth Avenue near 125th Street on Wednesday night when an unknown man approached him and punched him in the head, police said. After throwing the punch, the robber snatched the delivery worker's e-bike and fled the scene of the attack, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Police released photos of the suspect taken by security cameras near the site of the robbery.

The delivery worker suffered minor injuries, police said.
