HARLEM, NY — Want to cash in on a good deal or simply stroll through the neighborhood looking for a gift? Well, you'll have the chance this weekend, as the second rendition of the Harlem "Stoop Sale" will take place on Sunday.

Organized by the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association, the stoop sale will take place within the Mount Morris Park Historic District, spanning between West 116th and 124th streets, between Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. and Madison Avenue.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m on April 30.

Over 50 Harlem households have already registered to participate, and organizers expect there could be even more than the 80 homes that took part last year.

"The MMPCIA Stoop Sale is an exciting opportunity to bring out your gently used unwanted items to sell or give away to people in the community or passersby who love a good deal and thrifty finds," the Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association wrote in a sign-up sheet for the event.
